Hi there! My name is Greta and I'm the founder of ASCENTION. I’m excited to share my personal experience and insights about why I created a wellness fragrance brand with you. Ready to dive in? Growing up in the beauty industry, I've always been fascinated by the power of fragrance and cosmetics. From watching Mary Kay videos and then performing client makeovers, the inner transformation was palpable. To then working at big beauty giants like L'Oreal, Shiseido, and Coty, I've seen firsthand the impact that fragrance and beauty products can have on people's lives.

But as I delved deeper into the world of beauty, I began to see the downsides of the industry. I saw the harmful chemicals, dies and animal derived ingredients (and the plastic, OMG the plastic!) that were being used in many products, and I knew that there had to be a better way.

That's why, after years of working in the corporate beauty world, I found myself falling in love with indie beauty. And when I joined the management team of a clean fragrance company, I knew that I had found my calling.

Working on that brand, I saw the potential for sustainable, clean fragrance. We created a brand in collaboration with Sephora called Clean Reserve, and I would even go on QVC to sell the products and travel the world marketing it! But I knew that I wanted to do more.

I wanted to create a fragrance brand that wasn't just clean, but that was also focused on spiritual wellness, especially after my cancer scare which resulted in my own ascension through my healing journey, that's how ASCENTION was born.

So what exactly is a wellness fragrance? It's a fragrance that is designed not just to smell good, but to make you feel good too, using all of your senses. Our fragrances are made under the principles of aromatherapy; intentional, cruelty-free, vegan, sustainably-sourced ingredients and are designed to promote mindfulness, wellbeing and to add a little magic, even manifestation, (heck I manifested this company with my rituals, and so can you!).
